School of Management at Fudan University and Shanghai International Trust Co., Ltd. Establish Strategic Partnership
A closed-door exchange featuring the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and the unveiling of an internship base between School of Management at Fudan University and Shanghai International Trust Co., Ltd. was recently held at the School's Zhengli Campus. The event aimed to deepen the integration of industry and education, create a new platform for university-enterprise cooperation, and jointly cultivate high-caliber finance professionals. It was hosted by Fei Zhou, Director of the Career Development Office at School of Management at Fudan University.
Attendees from Shanghai International Trust included Bing Chen, Secretary of the CPC Committee and General Manager; Yangqing Sun, Deputy Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Committee, and General Manager of the Human Resources Department; Wei Huang, General Manager of the Private Wealth Department; Yu Shu, General Manager of the Wealth Products Department and General Manager of the Pension Service Trust Department; Cong Sheng, Deputy Director of the CPC Committee Office and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee; Lijia Chen, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Securitization Investment Department; and Zhuo'er Deng, Senior Manager of the Human Resources Department, as well as other company executives and key staff members.
Fudan SoM participants included Xiongwen Lu, Chair of School Council, Fudan University School of Management; Vice Dean Yimin Sun; Professor Qi Zhu, Deputy Chair of the Department of Finance; Yunfei Sun, Director of the Fudan University EMBA Program; Shaobin Duan, Executive Deputy Director of the Executive Education Center; Fei Zhou, Director of the Career Development Office; Song Jiang, Deputy Director of the Development Office; and members of the School's Career Development Office.

In his remarks, Xiongwen Lu, Chair of School Council, Fudan University School of Management, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Shanghai International Trust and emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership in bringing academic research and industry practice into closer alignment. He reviewed Fudan SoM's recent development and highlighted its achievements in strengthening its teaching system and enhancing research. He noted that, amid today's complex and rapidly changing environment, talent is the key driver of development. Responding to the broader trends of the times, Fudan SoM has launched its "Management Empowering Sci-Tech Innovation" Strategy and proactively introduced new programs, including the Master of Intelligent Management and Global MBA programs, to meet talent-development needs in the digital-intelligence era. He added that sci-tech innovation and management should serve as twin engines of progress. Management education provides vital support for technological innovation and industrial competitiveness, and Fudan SoM will continue to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, integrate Party building with its core operations, and jointly advance collaboration among industry, academia, and research.

In his remarks, Bing Chen, Secretary of the CPC Committee and General Manager of Shanghai International Trust, thanked Fudan SoM for its strong support in bringing the strategic partnership to fruition. He noted that, as the company steadily expands its business, it will continue to increase investment in campus recruitment over the next three years. He warmly welcomed more Fudan SoM students to undertake internships and pursue careers at Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Shanghai International Trust, where they can apply their talents across asset management, wealth management, sci-tech innovation investment research, trust services for public well-being, and philanthropy.

They also unveiled the internship base.
Yu Shu, General Manager of the Wealth Products Department and General Manager of the Pension Service Trust Department at Shanghai International Trust, gave a presentation titled "Applications of Trusts in Wealth Management and Public Well-being." Professor Qi Zhu, Deputy Chair of the Department of Finance at Fudan SoM, delivered a presentation titled "Talent Development Practices and Future Directions in Finance at Fudan SoM."
Representatives of the two parties also held in-depth discussions on student career development and financial-talent cooperation, collaboration with the Fudan University EMBA Program, cooperation in executive education programs, AI-plus-innovation projects, joint Party-building initiatives, and social responsibility.

The strategic partnership will provide Fudan SoM students with a high-quality platform for internships and practical learning while bringing cutting-edge academic insights and innovative thinking to Shanghai International Trust. Going forward, the two parties will use the internship base as a platform for broad and in-depth exchanges and cooperation, jointly explore new models for developing finance professionals, and pursue mutual benefit and high-quality development in university-enterprise collaboration.
