As a major outcome of their collaboration, Fudan SoM and NTU's College of Management jointly launched the first Chinese-language dual-degree EMBA program of its kind across the Taiwan Strait in 2010. The initiative set a precedent for sustained, in-depth collaboration in executive education between leading business schools on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and has been recognized as a pioneering model of cross-Strait business education cooperation. Over the past decade and more, the two schools have adhered to resource sharing, faculty co-development, curriculum co-research, and talent co-cultivation, integrating the top-tier teaching resources and industry think-tank strengths of both universities to developadvanced management courses tailored to regional economic development and aligned with the needs of enterprise transformation. To date, they have cultivated nearly 1,000 outstanding entrepreneurs and senior managers from both sides of the Strait, spanning key sectors such as smart manufacturing, financial investment, digital technology, modern services, and healthcare.

In his speech, Prof. Lu stated that the decade-plus journey of collaboration between the School of Management at Fudan University and the College of Management, Taiwan University is a vivid example of sincere cross-Strait higher education cooperation and a true reflection of "People on Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait as One Family" and their shared pursuit of common development. Over the past decade and more, the two schools have remained true to their educational mission and upheld the spirit of openness and inclusiveness. Using the EMBA joint program as a platform, they have built a high-level platform for academic exchange, talent cultivation, and industry collaboration, injecting a steady stream of intellectual momentum into the high-quality development of enterprises on both sides of the Strait and the coordinated upgrading of regional economies.

He stated that, as the digital economy thrives and industrial transformation continues to deepen, cross-Strait economic, trade, and industrial cooperation is embracing new opportunities. Looking ahead, Fudan SoM will continue to deepen its partnership with NTU's College of Management and further improve the talent development model of their joint EMBA program. The two schools will focus on key issues such as the rise of artificial intelligence and the management of businesses in global markets, with the aim of developing more outstanding business leaders who are deeply engaged with both sides of the Taiwan Strait and possess a global outlook. Their continued collaboration will support closer cross-Strait industrial integration and people-to-people and cultural exchanges, while opening a new chapter in cross-Strait business education cooperation.

This joint anniversary celebration and exchange activity has further consolidated the foundation of cooperation between the School of Management at Fudan University and the College of Management, Taiwan University, deepened the mutual trust between top business schools on both sides of the Strait, and injected fresh momentum into further enhancing the joint EMBA program and strengthening its role as a model for cross-Strait collaboration.
