The 2020 Graduation Ceremony of Fudan University School of Management was held online in light of the pandemic. Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of the School of Management, delivered a speech through a live video, congratulating the class of 2020 for completing their studies in such a special period.
In this unprecedented chaos, the dean wishes to share with the graduates his belief in that the globalization is still the general trend; that peace and development remain the themes of our world; that history will repeat itself, but the lessons learnt will not be thrown away. He encourages the graduates to hold faith in the liberation of thoughts and the development of technology, as well as in the power of humanity and benevolence.
Professor Lu also advises the graduates to persist in lifelong learning, to maintain an independent spirit, and to prove themselves not only by creating wealth, but also through spreading knowledge and becoming leaders of thoughts.
